• Why should my corporation have a health fair?
Now more than ever, corporations are recognizing employee health contributes to a healthy bottom line. Providing a health fair for employees is an excellent, no-cost benefit that improves morale and enhances productivity. Health fairs also decrease employee sick days, as well as corporate medical and workers’ compensation claims.
• When is the best time to schedule a health fair?
Anytime is the right time to enhance wellness! Health fairs are best booked during the business week, as it is important to obtain company-wide permission to allow at least half of the employees to attend. Tuesdays or Wednesdays are the best days to schedule fairs, and it is always best to avoid scheduling a health fair before a major holiday or during another corporate event.
• What is the typical duration of a health fair?
Fairs can be as short as 2 hours, or as long as an entire day, depending upon your needs. The optimal time to schedule a fair is between the hours of 9am-1pm.
• What facilities are required to host a health fair?
We ask you to provide a room or space large enough to accommodate the exhibitors, as well as room for your employees to move about comfortably. Most exhibitors require nothing more than a 4×2 table and perhaps an electrical outlet. Certain exhibitors, such as those offering hearing screenings, may require the privacy of a small room. Our staff will review all requirements with you in advance, and will make adjustments to the exhibitor list as necessary.

We have found that often at least 60% of employees will attend. Awareness is key, and as part of our preparation we provide flyers, posters and other materials to promote your health fair internally.
